AFTERCARE
Aftercare is an essential part of the tattoo process to ensure your new ink heals properly and looks its best.
Here are some steps you should follow after getting a tattoo:
Follow These Aftercare Instructions
1. Keep the bandage on for 2-4 hours after getting the tattoo or as recommended by your artist to allow the tattoo to settle.

2. Wash the tattoo gently with mild, fragrance-free soap and warm water after removing the bandage. Avoid using any abrasive or harsh materials.

3. Pat dry the tattoo with a clean towel or air dry it. Avoid rubbing or wiping the tattoo to prevent irritation.
4. Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free, alcohol-free moisturizer or tattoo aftercare product to keep the tattoo hydrated and promote healing.
5. Repeat the washing and moisturizing process 2-3 times daily for the first 2 weeks. Avoid overwashing or over-moisturizing the tattoo.
6. Do not pick or scratch the tattoo, as it can damage the ink and increase the risk of infection.

7. Avoid wearing tight or restrictive clothing over the tattoo during the healing process.

8. Protect the tattoo from direct sunlight or tanning beds for at least 2 weeks. Apply SPF 30 or higher sunscreen on the tattoo if you need to be in the sun and reapply as needed.
9. Avoid soaking the tattoo in pools, hot tubs, or natural bodies of water such as oceans or lakes for at least 2 weeks.
10. Avoid strenuous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating for at least 2 weeks.
